Tjugga does not expect anything from your child. Your child can lie down and listen, then Tjugga embraces and carries your child to the Night Forest, using your voice. Throughout the story it says: (…….). Here you just read out your child’s name. If you read aloud to several children, “you” changes to “I / you”, just as you can also list all the children’s names. There is room for many children in Tjugga’s embrace. The child reads your tone of voice, facial expressions and body language, and therefore it is a good idea to pass on Tjugga’s nature and calm in your reading aloud. For your child, there is nothing more safe and pleasant to listen to than your voice.
